I can't believe it is already Thursday night . . .
Where has this week gone?
Thought I would catch everyone up on our week.
Last nights storm left us with 3" of rain.
Our lake has risen to right below our dock ~ a welcome
change from last summer's drought.
The police scanner was full of flooding reports on streets ~ so much water was running through the sewers the manhole covers were popping off of the manholes in the street.
We remained home and inside all safe and dry.
The rains eventually subsided and this morning we noticed
God has been so good to us concerning our business.
Our bottling plant is enclosed and the roof is on. There is still work to be done on the building, but we are waiting on the insurance and the brick/block contractor.
Meanwhile, our company is back on our feet. Things are a bit different for us than normal, but we are thankful even for the different. Exciting changes are in store for our company . . .
I can't wait to share them.
Randy's parents seem to be doing o.k. now . . .
to which we are Thankful!
The boys have enjoyed the warmer weather!
They love to be outside . . .
we love them running and expelling a bit of energy!
They have already begun wearing shorts
(Cody calls them "short sleeve pants")
and tried for no sleeve shirts,
but I stopped them on that one for now.
I saw this on Facebook . . .
I might just give this a try!
Salad in a Jar
Arrange from bottom to top:
Hard boiled eggs
Directions: Arrange ingredients in a large mason jar. Store in fridge for up to one week. When ready to eat: shake jar and eat.
You can make any salad you want . . .
add red onion, cucumber, radish, peppers, etc.
Always remember ~~~ dressing on the bottom & lettuce on top!
This reminded me when I was a teenager and was praying
for my unknown husband to be.
I think this is REALLY Beautiful!
