ISAAC, BROTHERS

As I write, the rain is pouring down . . .
Central Illinois is receiving its share of Isaac.
The weather map looked like this today:

According to the 6:00 p.m. news, there were NINE confirmed Tornado touch downs to the north of us.

This photo was taken in Speer, Illinois at Tanner's Orchard.

My sister Jeanette posted this photo on Facebook.

One of our local weather people posted this photo earlier today.

Randy said our lake has risen about 5" when he looked earlier today. The rain has continued on an off all day and we expect more tomorrow as well.

~~~~~
Our day was spent inside for most of the day.
We took naps.
The boys played together for the most part, although there were a few bouts of "war" that broke out. Since Daddy is at work during the day, he is not used to the "wars" between the boys.
"Why are they arguing?"
"What is wrong with them?"
"Why can't they get along?"
were all questions Randy asked in a very short time.
Well . . .
Let me see . . .
they are boys . . .
boys can be combative . . .
they are boys . . .
they are . . .
well, BOYS!
He shook his head and said, "I don't ever remember being like that as a little boy."
Well . . .
YOU were an ONLY son and didn't have three brothers to argue with. Having two sisters is NOT the same as having THREE brothers all very close in age.
Brothers challenge one another.
Brothers help one another (at least sometimes)
Brothers come to your assistance when you need them.
Brothers are there.
Brother + Brother + Brother + Brother =
