Snow Flurries, Pneumonia and Anniversary

This afternoon . . . we had SNOW FLURRIES!

The kids were excited!

They were VERY excited!

Of course, snow flurries do not stick to the ground and were over just as fast as they started, BUT the kids were thrilled and ran around the front yard with their heads tilted back and mouths open wide catching those little white specks in their mouths.

This morning Katelyn headed back to the doctor for another chest xray to see how she was recovering from the pneumonia she was diagnosed with two Mondays ago.
The doc didn't like the squeak he heard in her lungs . . . so, off to the xray department she headed.
After Xrays she was back to the office . . .
the Doc had the results and didn't like the haziness the Xrays displayed.

Katelyn has now been diagnosed with WALKING PNEUMONIA.
Two antibiotics were prescribed and Katelyn will be having another Xray in ten days.
Prayerfully, the new antibiotics will take hold and wipe out this crazy illness.

It was time for Katelyn to schedule her second semester at college.
I am thankful she was able to do this from home.
Katelyn has been keeping in touch with her professors by email.
She began setting up her class schedule only to find one of the art classes was full and had a waiting list. She put her name on the waiting list and went on to register the other classes . . .
Katelyn was pleased with the classes, but anxious about the art class that was full.
When finishing up her scheduling she went back to check that all had been chosen correctly . . .
she became VERY excited . . .
apparently, her art teacher which is also her counselor had moved her name from the waiting list to the registered list . . . she got the class!
We are praising God!

The boys are out of school tomorrow in observance of Veterans Day.
I hope they decide to sleep in a bit in the morning!!!
I am looking forward to a WONDERFUL weekend!
