Tonight we are all back under one roof and it feels AMAZING.

Randy was discharged from the hospital late this morning. It took quite a while to get everything in place to get out of there, but FINALLY we were in the car and headed home.

We arrived back in town just in time to pick up Cody from Preschool. He had stayed for pizza lunch but didn't want to stay for nap time. I think Daddy was just as excited as Cody was to be together once again.

We pulled into the drive and unloaded Randy first and then EVERYTHING else. Took a while. I got him all settled in with a few things to drink, pillows, his ipad, mechanical ice wrap, etc. and left him with Katelyn (which is home with Strep) so I could go and get prescriptions taken care of, PLUS pick the dogs up from beauty. Then a few more minutes home and it was time to pick the boys up from school.

Once home I put together a medication organizer . . . with injections, medications for one thing or another . . . I needed a bit of organization and reminders. So far so good.

The boys got to their homework and writing that was assigned to them. I got busy on dinner. Randy needs to consume a lot of fluids and steak to get his blood count back to normal since the surgery. Thankfully, it warmed up a bit here and I was able to grill out steak. The kids had hamburger and mac from Schwan's and left over chicken.

Randy was getting a bit stiff, so we moved him around a bit. Then we decided to get him upstairs for a shower and to see if we could get him comfortable in bed. It took quite a bit of effort, but between the two of us he made it! Into the walk in shower and the hand held sprayer was so helpful! I am pleased to say . . . he was showered, hair washed, teeth brushed and he is now resting comfortable in the sleep number bed . . . all propped up. He has his remote, plenty of water, television, and room service . . .
What more could he want?

Tonight .  .  . R.E.L.A.X.A.T.I.O.N.

Randy and I are watching "Pickers" and then "Sons of Guns" upstairs. We sent Cody to his own bed. We are simply going to chill out, drink some fresh ground coffee and then get some sleep.

Tomorrow . . . who knows!
